About
Modi Deutsch brings a broad technological, managerial and strategic background, gained over the years working in the high-tech industry. He combines technological and business knowledge with law and regulation, with an emphasis on privacy law, information security, artificial intelligence and internet law.
His education includes two law degrees (LL.B. and M.A.), which followed his earlier degrees in software and in economics and sociology, together with professional training as a Data Protection Officer (DPO) and as a Chief Information Security Officer (CISO).
Today he advises organizations on regulatory compliance and AI governance, and serves as an outsourced DPO (Data Protection Officer). His technological experience allows him to assess compliance and risk not only at the level of documents and procedures, but with a technological and process-level understanding of the systems, the vendors and the actual flow of data.
